Community and alumni

UQDI offers a number of ways to involve the community in its research.

These range from specially designed research immersion programs for Year 11 and 12 students (SPARQ-ed), sessions for primary school students and visits to community groups to talk about our work.

We also offer the opportunity for community members to partner with us by supporting and promoting our research activities. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about how you can become involved.

Alumni

As a community oriented research organisation, we recognise and greatly value our alumni.

The Institute is eager to remain in touch with alumni members and follow their research careers since their gradauation, seeking to promote what our alumni might be doing and where they are now.

Alumni constitutes any previous UQDI students, researchers, staff, visitor and casual members whom have been enrolled or employed at the Institute.

Because all staff and students have contributed to UQDI, we wish to broaden our alumni community and encourage any alumni who we may not have updated contact details for, to get in touch with us.

To register for the UQDI Alumni Program and to keep up-to-date with the Institute, please contact Nicole Zanyat at n.zanyat@uq.edu.au or phone +61 7 3443 7026.
