Clinical research facilities

Through the Princess Alexandra Hospital linkages, Frazer Institute has access to a large patient base that enables the ready testing of clinical hypotheses and the development of clinical research projects.

Frazer Institute clinical research teams include administrators and research nurses working with clinicians and researchers to provide a comprehensive clinical trials staffing structure. This ensures that trials are conducted to the highest ethical standards and maximises the potential for quality outcomes for translation into therapeutic practice.

Frazer Institute is equipped with laboratories to facilitate the development of therapeutic discoveries towards TGA standards. Situated within the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Frazer Institute has close links with the Clinical Trials & Biostatistics Centre to maximise the design and analysis of complex trials on a national and multinational scale.

Our researchers aso have access to the TRI Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital - a controlled and safe environment to conduct research on human subjects.  The CRF is a multipurpose research centre housed directly across from the TRI in a hospital environment with ready access to hospital facilities and emergency response teams.
